Stainless Steel 316Ti Instrumentation Tubes grade is stabilized with titanium grade having molybdenum-bearing austenitic structure. This alloy offers great resistance to general and local corrosion. Also, this alloy performs well under the pitting and crevice corrosion cracking environment. Due to its austenitic structure, it offers great creep, stress to rupture, and high tensile strength at higher temperatures. This grade is stabilized to sensitization. It leads to the formation of grain boundary precipitation in temperature between 900 deg F to 1500 deg F that results in rapid corrosion.
